Apartments Near the Dallas Zoo

Despite the ongoing pandemic, it’s important that we continue to do whatever it takes — as safely as possible — to maintain some semblance of normalcy. It’s essential to our peace of mind and wellbeing. We all have something different that helps with this, but there is one thing that almost universally puts a smile on everyone’s face: seeing adorable animals just doing their thing. That’s the beauty of living in one of our apartments near the Dallas Zoo. It only takes a quick 25-minute drive for an escape that feels worlds away and can help you forget, at least for a few hours, that today’s world is so different.

Dallas Zoo went to great lengths to revamp its ticketing process and ensure that its guests’ health and safety are protected while visiting during this ongoing pandemic. You no longer can arrive on a whim, so be sure to make proper accommodations in advance. Guests are now required to book specific tickets and parking times; your tickets will be scanned at the entrance, before being allowed to park. And please note, all guests age 10 and older will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their visit.

Other than these minor (but extremely important) changes, it’s business as normal once you’re in the zoo. One other big change you’ll likely see is significantly smaller crowds than you may be used to navigating. In other words, getting up-close, unobstructed views of your favorite animals will be no problem.

Never been to the Dallas Zoo before? Well, you’re in for a real treat! There are more than 100 acres to explore, housing more than 2,000 animals (and at least 400 species) in habitats designed to be as naturalistic as possible. It’s a truly transporting experience. There’s so much for you to see — whether you’re looking for monkeys, lions, reptiles, birds, and everything in between — that you’ll want to keep coming back for more.

Finding the time to safely escape for a little bit has never been more important than it is now. Knowing what places are taking the time to mitigate risks is one of the keys to doing that. The other is living close enough to take advantage of these spots. Come take a look at our one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments near the Dallas Zoo and consider one for your next home; moving here will be the best decision you make, pandemic or otherwise.
