What is Affordable Housing?​

3 Springs Apartments is a tax credit community with Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and Tax Exempt Bond Financing through Tarrant County Housing Finance Corporation. Because our property is supported by bond programs, we can offer apartment homes at reduced rental rates tied to household income, creating a lasting layer of affordability.

Our community participates in several affordable housing programs that work together to maintain below-market rents for qualifying households. These programs not only help keep monthly housing costs affordable but also protect residents from sudden rent increases outside the limits established each year by HUD and TDHCA.

Qualifying can be a more in-depth process than usual rental screening practices, but our management team is available to assist each applicant every step of the way. While the process may take a little extra effort, many applicants find it worthwhile as they pursue a home in our affordable community.
